Once upon a time (in a time not so long ago), the future was viewed by many as a utopian, shining city on a hill where we were all thin, beautiful, eternally young, and at peace.

We believed that Humankind held its destiny in its own hands and would overcome the challenges facing our world through science, hard work, and ethical behavior.

The future that actually came about, however, is one filled with fundamentalism, uncertainity, Luddism, paranoia, and confusion.

I’m Kevin, and this is my space where I will do my best to show that yesterday’s world of tomorrow, while still a dream, is also still our best hope for the world in which we live and wish to pass on to our children.

I’m looking for a world where rationality, ethics, and hard work serve to guarantee that our children, our grandchildren, and beyond will live in a world far superior to that in which we dwell. This site is my candle in the dark, my stand at the gates against the barbarians, and my attempt to never, ever go gently into that dark night.
